Built in 1910 by Jacob Gray, the Vogelsang Building is still owned by the Vogelsang family. This building was leased by Louis A. Vogelsang (1874-1961) in 1912 for his general merchandise business. Vogelsang bought the property in 1922, and continued to operate his store at this site until 1947.
The Vogelsang Building has been kept in the family since 1912, and today is owned by Bob Vogelsang, Louis' grandson. Bob and his wife Marcia have been bringing new life to old Rosenberg structures and memories for over 35 years, honoring family traditions going back over 100 years.
